Ibn Battuta Metro Station

The Ibn Battuta Metro Station is located right across (walking distance) from the center of Ibn Battuta shopping mall. It’s also close to the residential communities of Jebel Ali Gardens, Discovery Gardens, and Jebel Ali Village. Parking is available at the shopping mall.

Attractions

Grand Megaplex 21 IMAX: enjoy movies in one of the largest Dubai cinemas, and the only one with an IMAX screen. Located in the China Court section of the Ibn Battuta mall. Check movie showtimes. short walk

Geant: they call them hypermarkets out here, but in essence they are huge supermarkets crossed with department stores. Geant is an example, and one of the most economical places for your grocery, produce, electronics and whatever else. Located in the Tunisia Court section of the Ibn Battuta mall. Website. short walk

Ibn Battuta Mall: this mall has become an iconic landmark of Dubai and features a six themed courts based on Ibn Battuta’s travels (China, India, Persia, Egypt, Tunisia and Andalusia.) Along the mall’s 1.3 kilometer length you’ll find numerous museum-type historical, educational and cultural displays from Ibn  Battuta’s journey. There are two food courts on either end of the mall and several anchor stores: Debenhams, Magrudys, Paris Gallery, Sharaf DG, Geant, and H&M. More info at ibnbattuta.com. short walk

Sky Dubai: the world’s largest helium tethered balloon takes off every fifteen minutes from 10am to midnight. It’s a great way to get a panoramic view of Dubai from 150 meters high. Expect to see the Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali, Jebel Ali Port, Dubai Marina and more on a clear day. Tickets are 60 AED for adults (15+) and 30 AED for children. More info at Sky Dubai. short walk
