Grand Megaplex 21 IMAX: enjoy movies in one of the largest Dubai cinemas, and the only one with an IMAX screen. Located in the China Court section of the Ibn Battuta mall. Check movie showtimes. short walk
Geant: they call them hypermarkets out here, but in essence they are huge supermarkets crossed with department stores. Ibn Battuta Mall: this mall has become an iconic landmark of Dubai and features a six themed courts based on Ibn Battuta’s travels (China, India, Persia, Egypt, Tunisia and Andalusia.) Along the mall’s 1.3 kilometer length you’ll find numerous museum-type historical, educational and cultural displays from Ibn Battuta’s journey. Sky Dubai: the world’s largest helium tethered balloon takes off every fifteen minutes from 10am to midnight. It’s a great way to get a panoramic view of Dubai from 150 meters high.
