Armani Hotel Dubai launch postponed

The anticipated opening of the first Armani Hotel, located in the Burj Khalifa is postponed until 27 April (1). Organizers at Emaar revealed that the opening would shift to Tuesday, 27 April due to the grounding of numerous flights to and from Europe.
The Armani Hotel’s launch was due on Wednesday morning, followed by a major launch party on Wednesday night including a fashion show. Giorgia Armani along with numerous celebrity guests were due to arrive in the next few days for the event.
A public opening was originally scheduled for 24 April, which will shift as well.
It’s reported that only the date has been shifted, and the event plan will remain as before.
Covering 40,000 square meters, the Armani Hotel Dubai features 160 guestrooms (located on floors 5 – 8 ) and suites (located on floors 38, 39), an Armani/SPA, a Private Members Club, five restaurants and a night club. In addition, it will have 144 one and two bedroom residences.
