Lost Season 6 premieres
It’s finally here. Lost’s final Season 6 premiered on 2nd February 2010 on the ABC network in the US. The TV show came on air in 2004 and followed the lives of plane crash survivors on a mysterious island in the Pacific as it’s flying from Sydney to Los Angeles.
Lost’s pilot episode was first broadcast on September 22, 2004, and since then five full seasons have aired while developing a huge fan base across the world. The show garnered an Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series in 2005 and a Golden Globe for Best Drama in 2006.
Season 6 premiered on 2nd February, 2010, at its new timeslot of Tuesdays at 9:00 pm in the US and Canada and will feature 18 episodes. The sixth season follows two time lines, each an outcome of the detonation of a hydrogen in the previous season finale. In the first timeline, referred to as “flash sideways” by ABC, Oceanic Flight 815 never crashes. In the second, the survivors return to the present day and must deal with the death of Jacob, who has been killed by the mysterious Man in Black, the Smoke Monster(1).
In Dubai, Lost air’s on the Orbit Showtime Network (OSN) a few weeks after the US air dates. If you just can’t wait, Lost episodes are available immediately after they air, on iTunes to download in standard or high definition. The only caveat is that you’ll need a US credit card for payment.
