Best new electronic single of 2010: You Used To Hold Me
We first heard this latest single from Calvin Harris on Radio 1 a few days ago and were blown away by the track’s hypnotic hook. You Used to Hold Me is an epic track that is sure to get major airplay in clubs around the world.
Calvin Harris is a Scottish artist and DJ, known for this debut album entitled I Created Disco. Released in 2007, this album yielded the top 10 singles Acceptable in the 80s and The Girls.
In August 2009, Calvin release the latest album entitled Ready for the Weekend featuring the following tracks:

The video above is for the latest single called You Used to Hold Me. We think its brilliant because of its sheer commercial appeal (although we are less enthusiastic of the album).
You Used to Hold Me doesn’t break any new ground in originality. At some points in the track you may even think that Calvin is trying to sound a lot like Andre 3000 from Outkast.
But take it for what it is: an openly commercial dance anthem. With one hell of a catchy beat.
