Sheikh Zayed Stadium

Sheikh Zayed Stadium is a multi-use sports facility located in Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi, which is mostly used for football matches, although it can also support track events.
Originally constructed in 1979, the stadium has been refitted per FIFA regulations, giving it a seating capacity of 49,500 persons. The stadium features an Arabesque roof structure encircling most of the stadium and spectator stands.
The headquarters of the UAE Football Association are also located within Zayed Sports City and the Emirates’ National Team regularly plays its matches in the stadium.
Sheikh Zayed Stadium has hosted matches from the GCC football tournament, the Asian Federation Cup, FIFA Youth World Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup.
The stadium is located close to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque and the Ministry of Interior, off Al Khaleej Al Arab street. Parking is available around the stadium.
