Kurbaan is a Bollywood drama starring real-life couple Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in a movie set around global terrorism. The film has been directed by Rensil D’Silva and produced by Karan Johar and Hiroo Johar (Dharma Productions). It was shot in Philadelphia and Brooklyn, NY.

Kurbaan releases on 19 November in Dubai cinemas and 20 November in India. This movie has had one of the widest releases ever for a Hindi film with it opening in more than 1,700 screens globally, along with a huge hype-building effort featuring print advertising and other promotions.

The movie also features a steamy poster with a bare-back top-less Kareena as well as a steamy love scene in the movie.

It’s a captivating movie with powerful performances and certainly one of the better releases out of Bollywood this year.

Plot: Avantika Ahuja (Kareena Kapoor) who lives in the US, returns to Delhi after her father has a cardiac arrest. While in Delhi she meets Ekaaksh(Saif Ali Khan), a Delhi University Professor. While Avantika teaches Psychology, Ekaaksh is a professor. Avantika and Ekaaksh have SEX and share love scenes throughout the movie which is played by Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

They get married and move to the US.

And what happens after that is quite astounding.Avantika realizes that she is a pawn in Ekaaksh’s game. He turns out to be a terrorist who marries her in order to cover up his identity.Avantika is kept under house arrest. Sooner Avantika also finds out that Ekaaksh plans to hijack a flight and one of the passengers on that flight is Ritesh (Vivek Oberoi), a journalist.
