Nickelback in Dubai
Nickelback are one of the most successful Canadian rock bands, consisting of members Chad Kroeger (vocals/guitar), Mike Kroeger (bass), Ryan Peake (guitar/backing vocals), and Daniel Adair (drums, since 2005). The band will fly in to Dubai to headline the Gulf Bike Festival in Dubai Festival City on 5th February, fresh on the tails of their Dark Horse European Tour.
Nickelback have enjoyed huge commercial success on the back of their six studio albums, which have yield many number one singles:
- Curb (1996)
- The State (1998)
- Silver Side Up (2001) – which gave rise to the ever popular This is How You Remind Me, Too Bad, and Never Again
- The Long Road (2003) – featuring Someday and Feelin’ Way Too Damn Good
- All the Right Reasons (2005) – with Photograph, Savin’ Me, Far Away, If Everyone Cared, and Rockstar
- Dark Horse (2008) – with Gotta Be Somebody, Something in you Mouth, and Burn It to the Ground (video above from nickelbacktv on youtube)
The Gulf Bike Festival runs from4-6 February 2010 and is part of the 5th Annual Dubai Bike Week. In addition to Nickelback, British rockers Status Quo will perform on the last night of the Festival–6th February.
Package tickets are available which include access to the Gulf Bike Festival as well as the concerts. However, concert only tickets are Nickelback Front Pit Standing for 460 AED per person, and Regular Standing for 295 AED. Tickets for Status Quo are 130 AED Regular Standing.
Concerts series is by Live Nation. Tickets can be purchased at Virgin Ticketting Box Office, Time Out Tickets, and Box Office Me.

I am a girl from Iran , i love Nickelback for many years , so that i came to dubai for their show .
It was fantastic , many people attended to the concert and it was actually a rock night!
but the problem was how to find the address becoz there was not a clear address for the concert place , they wrote on the tickets only: Dubai Festival City . and we wondered where to go ? which road ? which street ? and after all we found it by crowding people waited for parking near the Dubai Festival Mall !
any how it was great to see Chad and Ryan on the stage

Hi Iris, there isn’t any official transportation from Abu Dhabi that we are aware of, but that doesn’t mean that you couldn’t organize any.
Consider making a facebook group for ppl interested in car pooling, or ASK if anyone is interested on this page. Many people probably would benefit from car pooling too.

Hey, does anyone knows if there are seats in the concert? like not regular standing? I have my friend whose on a wheel chair. And we kinda wanna go together (That if there are any tickets left). Any idea??
Hey Roberta, first there should be tickets left.
Second, unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that there are any seated sections, as the area is divided into General Admission (standing) and Rock Zone (front rows standing):

However, try calling the event promoters to see if there is dedicated space for disabled customers, or if they will make an exception. You can tell them they’ll get positive publicity if they accommodate your request, because we will write about your experience!

you’ll need a credit card for the transaction. Otherwise, have your friend purchase them from this website. Once the order is placed you will get options for delivery. Sometimes, you can buy them from the website and pick them up at the concert. You’ll have to confirm that this is an option on the website.

Yeah, there don’t seem to be any tickets left for the Rock Zone from box office ME.
Tickets for the rock zone are still available at ticketingboxoffice.com
Alternatively, you can call Virgin Megastores at +97143414353 or +97142958599 or +97144370154 to see if them have them in store. That way you can pick them up directly.

Hi Shiva, now that’s a dilemma! I suggest you get a few trusted friends together whom you mom knows and then you all can go together. Or get on Facebook and start a group for ppl going to Nickelback, then show your mom how many cool ppl are going! Or, even better, let mom listen to a few of Nickelback’s song’s and then she won’t be able to resist from going with you.

Don’t think so, but you could call boxofficeme to purchase tickets and then collect them on the day of the concert or ask them to courier it over to you.
So the cheapest ticket price for the Nickelback’s concert is gonna be around 80 $? I need more info about the expenses, since I’m from Iran I need to know if I can afford it.

The live nation website: http://www.livenation.ae/event/8863/nickelback-tickets still says door open time and show time as TBD so there is no concrete information yet.
From past shows, we would assume that doors would open around 7 and show would start at 9pm.
