Nickelback are one of the most successful Canadian rock bands, consisting of members Chad Kroeger (vocals/guitar), Mike Kroeger (bass), Ryan Peake (guitar/backing vocals), and Daniel Adair (drums, since 2005). The band will fly in to Dubai to headline the Gulf Bike Festival in Dubai Festival City on 5th February, fresh on the tails of their Dark Horse European Tour.

Nickelback have enjoyed huge commercial success on the back of their six studio albums, which have yield many number one singles:

  • Curb (1996)
  • The State (1998)
  • Silver Side Up (2001) – which gave rise to the ever popular This is How You Remind Me, Too Bad, and Never Again
  • The Long Road (2003) – featuring Someday and Feelin’ Way Too Damn Good
  • All the Right Reasons (2005) – with Photograph, Savin’ Me, Far Away, If Everyone Cared, and Rockstar
  • Dark Horse (2008) – with Gotta Be Somebody, Something in you Mouth, and Burn It to the Ground (video above from nickelbacktv on youtube)

The Gulf Bike Festival runs from4-6 February 2010 and is part of the 5th Annual Dubai Bike Week. In addition to Nickelback, British rockers Status Quo will perform on the last night of the Festival–6th February.

Package tickets are available which include access to the Gulf Bike Festival as well as the concerts. However, concert only tickets are Nickelback Front Pit Standing for 460 AED per person, and Regular Standing for 295 AED. Tickets for Status Quo are 130 AED Regular Standing.

Concerts series is by Live Nation. Tickets can be purchased at Virgin Ticketting Box Office, Time Out Tickets, and Box Office Me.
