Global Village in Dubai at night

Global Village announced today the opening of a 51 day Spring Festival that will go from 12 March 2009 through 1 May. During this period, entry will be free for all visitors and a souq will be setup with more than 250 retailers displaying their clothing, jewellery and gifts. In addition, several booths will be setup serving a variety of food as well as tents featuring various sports and activities such as paint-balling and an air rifle range.

This is the first time Global Village will be open from March to May and is being done to transform it to a year round destination.
