Is that pizza still safe to eat?
How long is that delivery pizza going to stay tasty and safe to eat if left outside? How long if I put it in the fridge? What about fresh bananas?
Just ask stilltasty.com, a new site that tells you when leftovers, fruits, vegetables, and other foods are safe to eat, and for how long.
The site offers three main topics:

This section is the highlight of the site and offers details of typical shelf life for food divided by categories such as fruits, fish, pasta, diary, etc. For each category the site lists a variety of food and exactly how long they can be kept for, at room temperature, in the refrigerator or in the freezer. And it even gives you tips on the best methods for storing the food.
