Located right by the water, this little smoothie outlet is owned by the outstanding Bert’s cafe next door. In fact, Bert’s menu carries all the smoothies sold by this establishment. You can find smoothies, smoothies with additives (like fat burners), fresh juices, juice drinks, and shakes.
Most of the items use fat-free (1%) sugar-free yoghurt along with fresh fruits for the main ingredients. We’re partial to the Fiber Provider (Mango) and the Coco Loco (Coconut) smoothies. Also, the Breakfast Super Smoothie is a perennial morning favorite with banana, honey, museli, and ginger booster.
What you get is fresh, and the staff is courteous. Prices are 20, 22, and 24 AED depending on the size you want. And in my opinion, the smoothies are better than Scoosh, just down the street, although the best in the area remain at Jungle Juice in Dubai Media City.
So, next time you’re going for a cruise on the yacht, stop by Fruits Etc. first and get a smoothie to go.
