Located in Souk Al Bahar, Cru is a contemporary wine bar across from the Meat Company and next door to Bang nightclub. It features a cool minimalist interior and warm lighting and long bar tables, all of which make it inviting.
In essence, Cru is a good spot to meet friends before you go out. But while the interior is appealing, it suffers from not having a unique selling point–the space is small and there is no outdoor feature. What is does offer is free drinks for ladies on certain days and is a consolation venue for those folks who want to go to Bang but can’t get in.
With so many licensed restaurants in Souk Al Bahar as well as Left Bank, Hive, and Karma Kafé in the immediate vicinity, Cru has a lot of competition.
