This is a call to action for all aspiring film-makers! MBC media is holding a competition for the public in association with the New York Film Academy of Abu Dhabi. All you have to do is create and submit a movie following the new rules of 2 minutes, 2 actors, 2 locations.

You must register and submit your creations for the Movies in Motion competition online at mbc.net/mim where you can also see other entries that have been submitted so far.

Prizes include a one year scholarship for the New York Film Academy Abu Dhabi “Filmmaking Program” as well as an internship at MBC. You also have a chance to be entered in next year’s Middle East International Film Festival. In addition, there is a possibility for your work to be screened on the MBC 2 and MBC Max tv channels to an audience of over 40 million viewers.

This is an exciting opportunity for budding directors which do not come often. We suggest you dust off your digital camera and start writing a moving two minute screenplay!
