Watch 2010 FIFA World Cup Online
So you’re at work and want to watch the World Cup? Well, here’s a list of where to watch the 2010 FIFA World Cup Live online (with a specific list of those which work in Dubai and UAE).
Some of the sites are country-specific, meaning these have IP-based geographic restrictions on which viewers can stream content. For example, the ESPN3 stream is not going to be available in the UAE, unless you use a US-based VPN or proxy server.
UAE (also Middle East and North Africa)
aljazeerasport.tv — this is the official distribution channel for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in the Middle East and North Africa. A subscription is required, but all 64 games will be streamed live online.

UStream.tv — this American site features live steaming content including several live feeds of the World Cup.
TUV Player — you’ll have to download the player first from TUV Networks, but once that’s done, you can tune in to several stream TV channels, including live World Cup coverage.
iraqgoals.tv — if there’s football on somewhere in the world, you’ll find it live on this site.
Justin.tv — this used to be one of our favorite live TV sites, until they put international bandwidth restrictions in place. Anyway, have a go and see if it works for you.
Freedocast — another live broadcasting site with a few channels showing the World Cup live.
USA
ESPN3 — live streaming of the World Cup including all 64 matches. For US customers on affiliated cable providers, US college campuses, or US military installations only.
ESPN Mobile TV — this mobile site will be streaming the opening ceremonies and 56 world cup matches including semifinals and final to Sprint customers on the new HTC EVO smartphone.
Univision — live World Cup streamed in Spanish for US customers.
Canada
CBC Sports — CBC is Canada’s national public broadcaster and will be streaming all 2010 World Cup matches online.
UK
BBC Sports — BBC will stream high quality video of several World Cup matches. iTV will screen the rest.
iTV – screening those matches that are slated to be shown on iTV.
Australia
Optus — Optus is the #2 Australian telecommunications carrier and will be live streaming 2010 World Cup matches for free to customers with compatible 3G mobile devices.
