How to register for sms notification of dubai traffic fines

register with RTA to get automatic sms notification when you get a traffic fine
The RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) offers a registration service for licensed drivers which allows them to receive a sms, fax, or email notification anytime that they are unfortunate enough to get a traffic fine. This is especially important in the case of speeding fines which you can incur without knowing.
Process for registering
- Ensure you have your traffic fine number from your registration card
- Ensure you have either your license handy or your Dubai plate number
- Log into the RTA website
- Scroll down to the “Your RTA Account” on the right
- Click on “New User”
- Then click on “Public User”
- Then select the sub-option “Licensing and Registration Services”
- Complete your demographic information including a valid email address
- Now enter in your Traffic File number and the Driver’s License or Dubai Plate number
- Once registered you will be able to change your sms or fax notification preferences
The Dubai Police website also maintains a procedure document for the notification registration although the screenshots are slightly different than what can be found on the RTA website.

We didn’t find any fines for the information you supplied. However, sometimes it takes a few days after the offense for the fine to appear.
You should check yourself but putting in the relevant information on the Dubai Police Website here:
